The idea for this Insta account started when my poor friend @evancooperkaras was having to put up with me on yet another Monday morning raving on about paddle boarding in Blairgowrie, camping in Lorne or waterfall chasing in Trentham...I can't even remember what weekend we were talking about when he coined the term Micro Adventurist.
It was word love instantly!
Whilst I'm the first to admit I'm never going to be a ‘proper’ adventurist scaling mountains, wrangling tigers and surfing tsunamis, I am the first to ditch the desk for the mountains, the beach or anywhere where there’s fresh air, a bit of dirt and a mini adventure to be had.
So this is my latest adventure, curating and sharing all my favourite Micro Adventures around Australia.
We don't work all week to sit at home, right?
